Can you get better gas mileage with the heat on?

no it just makes you hotter, I am assuming that your whole intent is to make the car run cooler but this will not work and having the windows down actually creates more drag . try buying some j3 or q3 spark plugs , trucks on speed channel did a test on them and they gained 5 horsepower and used a little less gas, also try using a k&n filter letting the engine breathe more, you might see a little improvement

ac off windows up will be your best bet heat has nothing to do with it.

no nor with the windows down.consumer reports did a test and found the amount so small ( less than a mpg ) . so your windows down with the air off wont get better results.nor with the heat on.

The best way to actually measure the engine wont have to run most efficienly at around 200 degrees farenheit if you drive more aerodynamic drag which could hurt your gas because the previous post.
